Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Elevate Unlimited. Please read them before subscribing — by creating an account you agree to them.
Last updated 11 July 2026
1. Who we are
Elevate Unlimited is a subscription video-editing service operated by Elevate Studio Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 09054088, with its registered office at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, England, BH16 6FA. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Elevate Unlimited” refer to Elevate Studio Ltd; “you” refers to the person or business using the service.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, starting a subscription, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. The service
Elevate Unlimited provides subscription-based video editing. You submit edit briefs and source material through your dashboard, and our editors return finished cuts through the same platform. What is included — turnaround targets, the number of simultaneously active projects, and which formats and deliverables are covered — depends on the tier you subscribe to, as described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
Revisions are unlimited on every tier. Turnaround times we publish (for example, a first cut within 24–48 hours depending on tier) are targets we work hard to meet, not guarantees, and may be affected by the completeness of your brief, the size of your source files, and the complexity of the work.
4. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
5. Subscriptions, billing & payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our systems.
- Prices are shown in GBP and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend work and access until the balance is settled. We may change our prices, and will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewals.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period and does not renew after that. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.
14-day refund. If you cancel within 14 days of starting your subscription and you have not used any editing services in that time, you are entitled to a full refund of your first payment. “Used any editing services” means submitting an edit brief, uploading source material for editing, or an editor beginning work on your behalf. Once you have engaged the service in any of those ways, the 14-day refund no longer applies, because the service has begun.
This reflects your statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: by submitting a brief within the 14-day period you are asking us to begin the service during that period, and you acknowledge that once the service has been provided you lose the right to a refund for it. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under UK consumer law. To request a refund, email [email protected].
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the source material you upload (footage, audio, images, brand assets, and briefs — “your content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and edit your content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have all rights, licences, and consents needed for your content and its editing — including rights to any music, footage, fonts, and the consent of anyone who appears in it.
8. Deliverables & intellectual property
On full payment of the subscription period in which they are delivered, the finished edits we produce for you (“deliverables”) are yours to use. Where your tier includes source project files, those are provided as described for that tier. We retain ownership of our own tools, templates, processes, and the Elevate Unlimited and Elevate Studio brands. We may show non-confidential deliverables in our portfolio or marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to request or distribute content that:
- infringes anyone’s intellectual property or other rights;
- is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or obscene;
- depicts or sexualises minors, or is otherwise illegal; or
- you do not have the rights or permissions to use.
We may decline or stop work on any brief that breaches this section or that we reasonably consider harmful, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that do so.
10. Availability & third-party services
We rely on third-party providers (including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Resend for email, and Cal.com for scheduling) to run the service. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not responsible for outages or failures caused by those providers or by events outside our reasonable control.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period. We strongly recommend you keep your own backups of your source material; while we take care of your files (see our Privacy Policy), you should not rely on us as your only copy.
12. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service unlawfully. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content rights, liability, and governing law) continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will give you reasonable notice (for example by email or in the app). Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
